Welcome

Christ the King Slide ShowWelcome to the Christ the King Primary School Website.

Christ the King is a Catholic Primary School in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne and is part of the Parish of Christ the King, Braybrook. We aspire to reflect the values of the Gospel through the curriculum and in the relationships formed within the school community.

The school community is predominantly the children of refugees from non English speaking countries, such as Vietnam and other Asian cultures. More recently families from the Sudan and other Horn of Africa countries are settling in the area and seeking enrolment at out school. Altogether approximately 20 nationalities are represented in the student population.

The school enrolment is steady at around 275 students and the classes are organized in multi age groupings e.g. Prep/1, 2/3 etc.

Literacy, Numeracy and Religious Education are at the core of the school curriculum with a commitment to provide a broad curriculum through an integrated curriculum, physical education and participation in interschool sports, swimming programs and camping from years 3 – 6.

Our staff is committed to meeting the needs of all students and to prepare them to take their place in the global community of the future.

I am indeed privileged to lead such a diverse community.

Feel free to contact the school should you require any further information.
